Following the inclusion of our Company on the so-called ‘List of Shame’ compiled by the Yale School of Management (hereinafter: ‘YSM’) under the leadership of Professor Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, we wish to inform you that ‘Elektromontaż – Poznań’ S.A. reacted immediately and sent formal requests for the Company to be removed from the List published by YSM.
Information obtained from YSM indicated that the basis for placing the Company on the List was historical data found on the internet, the accuracy or currency of which had not been verified at all.
In the statement sent to YSM, we informed them that:
1) our subsidiary, Elektromontaz - Rus Ltd., was struck off the Russian Unified State Register of Legal Entities in September 2021 due to a long-standing lack of actual activity;
2) the information regarding the alleged operation of our registered Representative Office within the territory of the Russian Federation, which came to YSM’s attention, was also out of date, as it concerned the “former” company “Elektromontaż – Poznań” S.A., with tax identification number (NIP) 7792090814, KRS: 0000060700, which was struck off the KRS in November 2019, whereas our current Company does not have such a Representative Office.
After sending the above clarifications and information regarding the current state of affairs to YSM, we received on 4 April 2022 at 17:12, a confirmation from Mr Michal Wyrebkowski – a member of Prof. Sonnenfeld’s team at YSM – that a decision had been taken to remove our Company from the List drawn up by YSM (translated quote):
“Taking into account the new information provided by Elektromontaż, we have decided to remove this company from the list.”
We are currently taking steps to inform the authors of articles based on the list compiled by YSM so that they do not reproduce false information.
