The client is the project’s main contractor – Budimex – and the scope of the contract covers, in particular, the following systems: electrical and control systems, telecommunications and IT systems, and mechanical systems (ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, heating and process systems).
We commenced work on the hospital site in July this year and are scheduled to complete it in December 2012.
The project, whose full title is: “Modernisation of the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Olsztyn through the extension of the existing main hospital building to accommodate an operating theatre block and a central sterilisation unit”, will be co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Warmia and Mazury Regional Operational Programme.
The total value is over PLN 66 million, of which over PLN 46 million will be co-financed by the EU.
