Elektromotaż Poznań honoured in the ‘Pillars of the Polish Economy’ competition

Zawartość

For the fifth time, Puls Biznesu has organised one of the most prestigious business competitions, awarding the winning companies the title of “Pillars of the Polish Economy”. In the 2008 edition of the Pillars of the Polish Economy competition, Elektromontaż Poznań ranked 10th among the regional leaders...

The Pillars of the Polish Economy are a list of companies that are economically strong and, at the same time, identify with the regions in which they operate. A Pillar of the Polish Economy is a company recognised as the most important in the region, a company that is a major employer, a significant taxpayer and a “citizen” of its region, supporting a wide variety of local social initiatives. The Pillars are awarded to companies by region, which largely correspond to the boundaries of the provinces – with the exception of the city of Warsaw, which forms a separate region. The companies entered into the competition were selected by Dun and Bradstreet Poland, a business intelligence agency collaborating with Puls Biznesu. Each regional list included an average of 20 companies from each province. To qualify for the shortlist, several conditions had to be met, including:

  • have at least a partial Polish ownership stake,
  • have no outstanding payments to business partners,
  • demonstrating a steady upward trend in sales revenue,

The competition took place in three stages – the preliminary round, the semi-final and the final. In the final stage, readers of Puls Biznesu had two weeks to vote for their favourite via the website, email, text message or fax, and it was their votes that ultimately decided the winner. Our company received 20 points, which placed it in 10th place in the Wielkopolska Province.
