The IT Leader Awards, organised for the past 14 years by the editorial team at Computerworld, recognise companies and institutions that have achieved success in the field of digitalisation and make the best use of IT in their operations.
This year, the IT Leader title was awarded in six categories: banking and finance, retail and services, the public sector, industry, healthcare and utilities.
Based on the submitted questionnaires, the jury shortlisted three companies and institutions in each category. In total, just 18 entities made it to the final shortlist, including Elektromontaż Poznań (industry category).
This year’s competition was held under the patronage of Waldemar Pawlak, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Economy.
The awards ceremony, at which Elektromontaż Poznań received its award, took place on 28 September 2010 in Warsaw.
