In September 2011, our company signed a contract to carry out work
relating to the construction of a sports and entertainment hall in Toruń. The client is the project’s main contractor – Hydrobudowa Polska S.A., and the scope of the contract covers the following installations: high-voltage, telecommunications, automation and BMS.
The hall, over 160 m long, nearly 100 m wide and 20 m high, will have five storeys and an underground car park. The most important part of the facility, apart from the multi-purpose pitches, will be the main hall with a 200-metre athletics track. The facility will accommodate a total of 6,552 spectators, with separate VIP areas and stands for journalists and commentators, as well as the option to add folding stands.
The hall will be built next to the facilities of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre (Tor-Tor ice rink, Municipal Stadium, football pitches and field hockey pitches). It will thus complement the existing facilities, creating a multifunctional municipal sports and recreation centre.
The
total value of the works carried out by Elektromontaż Poznań will exceed
PLN 18 million.
